Greetings of Peace and Joy!
Growth is so evident in the Summer months, isn't
it? Kids always seem to gain an inch or two, the trees
are showing-off their colorful growth of flowers, and family
gatherings or vacations allow for time together to grow.
MorningStar is experiencing its own "growth spurt" this Summer
too! As you may know, Phase I of our renovation and
expansion project is underway (Hooray!!!) and by Summer's
end, MorningStar will have had a complete interior make-over
as well as the addition of eight new dorm rooms bringing our
maximum overnight capacity to eighty persons! Feel free
to come by and see us growing. Happy Summer!

Faith & Politics Seminar- Your Mother may have told you NOT
to talk about faith & politics, but Mother Church says
you should! A two-part seminar delving into the U.S.
Catholic Bishops document "Faithful Citizenship" and how it
can help in preparing to vote in the November elections. Tues.,
Sept 23 and Thurs., Sept. 25, 7pm at St. Louis Catholic Church.

of Miami offering a full schedule of retreats, lectures and
other opportunities for faith formation, spiritual renewal,
