MorningStar
is Planting Trees!!!
Through
the generosity of Diaz Farms and O'Leary-Richards
Design, MonringStar has plans underway to be landscaped!
Though plans are only conceptual right now, Kathy O'Leary-Richards,
Landscape Architect and Nick Diaz of Diaz Farms have put some
exciting ideas together to bring about a variety of beautiful
prayer gardens joined together by a meandering path throughout
the property.
Both Nick
Diaz and Kathy O'Leary-Richards
are involved at MorningStar as both retreatants and volunteers.
Nick is an active Emmaus brother with the St. Louis Men's
Emmaus and has volunteered at MorningStar in a special work
project last year in which the St. Louis men's Emmaus
team established the Emmaus Rose garden, the landscaping in
front of the administrative offices, and the Dave Marley Fountain.
Kathy has attended numerous MorningStar programs over the
past five years and currently also serves as a member of MorningStar's
Advisory Council.
What a gift MorningStar
has in both Kathy O'Leary-Richards and Nick Diaz! Please
join us in prayer that our Lord will bless and assist us in
our efforts to bring about the beautification of His land
at MorningStar and that the land itself would invite people,
by how it's landscaped, to become closer to Him!

MorningStar Renewal Center

a full schedule of retreats, lectures and other opportunities
for faith formation, spiritual renewal, and ministry development.

Celebrates Fifth Anniversary! As
the Feast of Corpus Christi approaches, come and celebrate
5 years of ministry together as the Body of Christ!
This event will feature a sacred procession of the Eucharistic
Lord around the grounds and throughout the Retreat House,
just as was done five years ago. Come and celebrate

Parents Night Out! - Date
Night!!! Now you can plan it and we'll provide the childcare.
MorningStar is supporting the things that make for healthy
marriages and that includes time for you as a couple!
So, put it on the calendar, drop the kids off for a night
of games and good fun, and go on a date! Children must
be at least 3 years old and potty trained. Registration
of each child required. Fee: $10 per child / per evening.
Thurs., July 2, 16, and 30 -- 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
Couples Evening of Reflection- A
wonderful way to build up your marriage and enjoy a evening
together. This program begins with a happy 1/2 hour
followed by dinner and is completed with a presentation designed
to build up your marriage! Space is limited so reserve
soon. Fee: $60 per couple. Tues., July 14 --
