for ongoing faith formation of the laity in the Church, the
birthplace of the Emmaus movement, and the location for the
majority of youth retreats in the Archdiocese is at stake.
CAN YOU HELP SAVE MORNINGSTAR?
- As you may know, the Archdiocese of Miami, to date, has
dealt exclusively with the Village of Pinecrest and given
them the option to purchase the 9 acre property.
- The Village made an initial offer of $4.6 million which
may or may not be accepted by the Archdiocese.
- If the offer is not accepted we will have a window of
opportunity to purchase the land and preserve the ministry
of MorningStar and this holy ground.
- We need to have money readily at hand to show the support
we would have for a capital campaign. That is where you
come in!
