The Great Conjunction, Jupiter & Saturn 12/21/2020

Many of us gathered at MorningStar and some of you in your backyard to view this beautiful Christmastime celestial event. Jupiter and Saturn so close together, that it looked like a bright star. Many call it The Star of Bethlehem. Perhaps it was the same bright object in the sky that led the 3 wiseman to Jesus right around the same time. It's an opportunity to retell the story of the birth of our Savior!

It was an exciting evening! If you look closely, one can see some of Jupiter's moons as tiny dots and also Saturn's mesmerizing rings. We also got to see some of the moon's craters just for fun. Sue was using her app to view the planets and came across Santa Claus flying by. Probably making a practice run!
