Grief, traumatic experiences, the loss of a loved one often raise profound spiritual questions; however death and loss are very often not dealt with beyond the funeral though the grieving process continues.

MorningStar Renewal Center in collaboration with Global Grief Support, Inc. offer quality training to faith communities and individuals interested in refreshing or developing a grief support or bereavement ministry at their parish.

Secular programs for grief support often shy away from spirituality. This workshop acknowledges spirituality as an important component and an essential resource for the bereaved. Clergy, teachers, laypersons in ministry and those in helping professions will benefit from this workshop .
