Celtic Christian Spirituality

About The Event
The spiritual depth of the Celtic Saints of the 5th, 6th, and 7th centuries – Patrick, Columba, Brigid, Brendan, Kieran, and others – reaches across the centuries to us. The way they saw life as a journey; their appreciation of silence, solitude, nature as God’s creation, and human creativity; and their strong sense of God’s immanent presence in every facet of life give us fresh ways to approach life, especially during this time when so many are experiencing fear and loss.
Join us for a 6-week Zoom series on Celtic Christian Spirituality, on Tuesdays, September 8th - October 13th, 2020 from 10am to 11am.
Facilitator: Ann Rose.
Ann Rose taught English and Humanities fulltime at Miami Dade College for 35 years, and then taught another 11 years at St. John Vianney College Seminary after her retirement. She currently co-facilitates Year 2, the Ignatian Retreat, in the Spiritual Companionship Program at MorningStar. A member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Coral Gables, Florida, Ann has given presentations and led retreats locally and in other areas of Florida and North Carolina. She frequently combines her interest in the art and writings of earlier Christian traditions with our present-day longing and search for spiritual depth.
