God is not quarantined and therefore the ministry of MorningStar has continued this past month via Zoom, skype, phone and so many ways.  We’ve also received emails, texts, and photos posted by individuals and families who take walks, go to pray, take time to be on the holy grounds of MorningStar during these challenging times!  There continues to be a deep need for connection that even the best zoom sessions don’t reach.

God is not quarantined and therefore MorningStar will reopen to serve our community.  The grounds of the first and the one-thousandth Emmaus will reopen and continue the ministry for all kinds of retreats and faith formation programs.  This time of social distancing has re-affirmed our call and our commitment to the mission of MorningStar!  Though our income has been ZERO since mid-February our staff have continued to serve in faith, that the work of God will be sustained.
