A morning or evening to explore the longing and waiting that scripture invites us to in this Season of increasing Light!
This Advent reflection will unpack the beauty of the scripture longing and waiting for Jesus called the “O Antiphons”.
The “O" Antiphons have been sung and prayed since at least the eighth century. They are drawn from the Messianic hopes of the Old Testament to proclaim the coming Christ as the fulfillment not only of Old Testament hopes, but also our present hopes as well! Come and learn from this ancient tradition and see how very contemporary the Word of God IS for us today.
