I am a Latina Catholic Woman, married with two daughters and passionate about Catholic Social Teaching. I was first introduced to the practice of Spiritual Direction as an undergraduate student at Georgetown University. I had many questions about my faith and sought a female spiritual director to accompany me on my spiritual journey. My experiences eventually led me to the Spiritual Direction Program at St. Thomas University, which I had the privilege of completing in May 2023.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and after providing mental health therapy for 14 years, have transitioned to teach graduate social work students and offer Spiritual Direction. In my role as a spiritual director, I offer an awareness and sensitivity to the challenges that may be experienced in one’s search for God, self, and one’s faith. My goal in spiritual direction is to create a sacred space to allow you the opportunity to explore and deepen your spirituality and help you identify where God may be working in your life. I take into consideration your cultural background and any other parts of your identity you would like to share and aim to help you connect with God while staying true to yourself.
